About the Opportunities
Due to ongoing growth, Nexus now has opportunities for full-time Employment Consultants to join their teams in Southport and Palm Beach, QLD.
This pivotal role will see you primarily responsible for assisting people with a disability to secure independent, meaningful employment. You'll also promote the Nexus brand within your local community.
More specifically, some of your key duties will include:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with employers to market Nexus services, advantages and clients to them;
- Liaising with employers regarding upcoming and current vacancies in their organisation;
- Providing post placement support to employers;
- Supporting and liaising with DES staff to ensure appropriate placements are made and outcome targets are achieved;
- Working with the DES group to identify areas for performance improvement, marketing opportunities and/or maintenance of information systems; and
- Acting as a link between Employers and Nexus.
Nexus is looking for candidates who possess an understanding of disability and a desire to establish a long-lasting career within the employment services sector. The ability to work both independently as well as part of a team will be crucial.
Any experience within employment services, sales, marketing and/or reverse marketing of clients will be highly regarded, however is not essential - if you have the right values, Nexus will teach you the rest!
