To match the ongoing demand, we are looking for an Employment Coach to join our team of specialists in Canberra, ACT and help deliver life-changing opportunities to build a better future.

Kickstart your career in the disability employment sector

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for assisting people with mental illness and disabilities to secure independent and meaningful employment.

Core duties:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with employers;
  • Provide post-placement support to employers; and
  • Work together with clients to identify performance improvement areas, marketing opportunities and maintenance of information systems.

You will also work with Disability Employment Services staff to ensure appropriate placements are made and outcomes are achieved.

What you will bring to the team

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual who has a can-do attitude, understands disability services and is enthusiastic about establishing a long-lasting career within the employment services sector.

No previous experience is needed! We will provide you with all the training you need to succeed in this role!

In this role, you will be working closely with job seekers and employers to provide positive and impactful changes to all stakeholders. As such, you will be empathetic and have practical interpersonal and communication skills.

Before commencing your journey with us, you will be required to have a Criminal History Check and a Working with Vulnerable People’s card. It will also be necessary to have a Driver’s License, a reliable vehicle that is comprehensively insured and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
